Resetting an Employee's Password

Resetting an Employee's Password

From time to time an employee will need their password reset.  Below are the instructions on how to reset an employee's password.

In order to reset your employee's password, login to Paid:
  1. Using the search bar in the upper right corner of Paid, type Password Reset, or access it via the menu (Team > HR > Employee Maintenance > Password Reset).
  2. Start typing the employee's name in the Employees box, you may also use the lookup icon as well.
  3. Once you have selected the employee(s), choose the Reset Password button in the upper right corner.
  4. The employee will receive an email from the system with their temporary password.  If they remember their password after the reset has been done, they will have to proceed with resetting the password.
If the employee is using password management software or storing passwords in the browser, ensure that the password has been removed, using autofill is the number one reason for password errors.
